flatexDEGIRO: confirms guidance for FY 2021

1 million euros, or 35.5%, to 88.1 million euros in Q3 2021 (Q3 2020: 65.0 million euros).

The group said that this significant increase was thanks to both higher transaction numbers and higher average revenues per transaction.

For the first nine months, growth reached 90.7%, with revenues totaling 314.2 million euros (9 months 2020: 164.8 million euros).

Adjusted EBITDA grew at an even faster pace, doubling to 146.1 million euros in the first 9 months of 2021 (9 months 2020: 73.1 million euros), with 38.5 million euros in Q3, up 39%.

At end-September 2021, the number of flatexDEGIRO customers reached 1.90 million, up 63.8% compared to the 1.16 million customers at 30 September 2020.

The number of transactions increased by 11.6% to 18.2 million transactions in Q3 2021 (Q3 2020: 16.3 million). From January to September, 71.2 million transactions were processed, up 31.9%.

Management confirms its FY 2021 guidance to grow its customer base to over 2 million customers and complete over 90 million transactions in 2021.

As part of "Vision 2026", flatexDEGIRO aims to increase its customer base to 7-8 million customers, executing at least 250 to 350 million transactions per year.
