Munich Re: raises FY 2019 forecasts

5% in Frankfurt on Thursday, although the Bavarian reinsurer now expects to exceed its FY earnings target of 2.5 billion euros, with expected premium volumes of over 49 billion euros.

Q3 earnings jumped 79% to 865 million euros, despite the losses relating to the Hurricane Dorian and the Typhoon Faxai, while its gross written premiums increased by 7.4% to over 13.7 billion euros.
