Lufthansa: UBS still on hold

(CercleFinance.com) - UBS maintains its Neutral rating on the Lufthansa stock with a target price of E9.
3 after the group's announcement of its 2022 results.

Revenue was E32.77bn (UBSe: E33.2bn, 2021A: E16.8bn, vs. E33.1bn), adjusted EBIT was E1,509m (UBSe: E1,591m, LH vs. E1,526m) and net profit was E791m (UBSe: E948m, 2021:
- E2,191m, compared to E875m), analysts note.

For 2023, Lufthansa expects a further significant improvement in its adjusted operating result, albeit with a seasonal loss in Q1, although this will be followed by a particularly strong performance in the next two quarters.
