SAP: about to acquire Taulia in California

(CercleFinance.com) - SAP announced on Thursday that it intends to acquire Taulia, a provider of solutions for optimising the working capital of companies, alongside the announcement of its quarterly results.


In a statement, the European business software giant said the deal will enable it to better support its customers in controlling their cash flow and supply chain liquidity.

Taulia, a San Francisco-based company, has big clients such as Airbus, AstraZeneca, Nissan and Vodafone.

Under the terms of the agreement, Taulia will continue to operate as its own entity within the SAP group and Cedric Bru will remain its managing director.

Luka Mucic, SAP's CFO, will nevertheless take over as chairman of its board of directors.

The news seems to have gone unheeded, however - the share is down over 6% towards noon today.
