Henkel: acquisition in industrial adhesives in the USA

(CercleFinance.com) - Henkel announced on Thursday that it would be strengthening its adhesives business with the "strategic" acquisition of Seal for Life in the USA.


The German group explains that the operation will enable it to extend its growth in the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) business by acquiring an "adjacent" company with a highly attractive profile.

Seal for Life specializes in the supply of protective and sealing coatings for markets such as renewable energies, oil & gas and water treatment.

The company, which employs some 650 people, generated sales of 250 million euros in 2023.

The financial terms of the operation were not disclosed.
