Continental: reorganises public affairs division

(CercleFinance.com) - The German tyremaker Continental today announces the reorganisation of its public affairs department, which has been led by Dr Thorsten Burger since 1 January 2022.

This division now brings together the public affairs and external affairs activities of Continental.

With this reorganization, we are going to combine our communication efforts with the announcements of political decision-makers, which should allow us to have more intense discussions and take advantage of significant synergies, it said.

Thorsten Burger has been with Continental since 2014. He first managed Strategy and Communications in Continental's Advanced Engineering Department before taking responsibility for the External Affairs Department in 2020.
