BMW: invests $100m in its largest plant in the world

(CercleFinance.com) - BMW has announced that it will expand its Spartanburg, South Carolina, facility, the largest in the world, with the construction of a new building to house logistics operations.


The total investment in the new building is estimated to be around 100 million dollars. Once complete, the new logistics centre will cover almost 93,000m2, with the possibility of future expansion.

Since 1992, the BMW Group has invested over 11.4 billion dollars in its Spartanburg plant, which produces over 1,500 vehicles per day.
