Deutsche Bank: second-quarter results to beat consensus

(CercleFinance.com) - Deutsche Bank expects to post second-quarter results "considerably above the average consensus estimate," the German bank said on Monday.

The Frankfurt-based group expects to report income before income taxes (IBIT) of approximately 700 million euros for the past quarter, compared to an analysts' estimate of 321 million euros.

For the second quarter, net income is expected to be around 400 million euros, versus a 159 million euros consensus.

In the second quarter, group revenues are expected to be approximately 6.6 billion euros, compared to an average consensus estimate of 6.4 billion euros, Deutsche Bank said.

The shares were up 6.3% in Frankfurt after these figures were disclosed.

The bank's detailed second quarter results will be published, as expected, on July 25.
