Sika: confirms strategic objectives for 2023

(CercleFinance.com) - At today's Sika 2020 Capital Markets Day in Zurich, CEO Paul Schuler will confirm its strategic goals for 2023.


Information will be provided on the measures with which Sika intends to continue its sustainable growth in the future, despite the coronavirus crisis.

Sika aims to post growth of 6% to 8% per annum in local currencies until 2023. It targets EBIT growth, with a margin of 15% to 18% from 2021 onwards. Projects in the areas of operations, logistics, purchases and product formulation should result in an annual improvement in operating costs equivalent to 0.5% of sales.

Sika's main sustainability objective is to reduce CO2 emissions by 12% through 2023.

For H2, Sika expects more favourable market conditions. With the expected improvement in sales volumes, the company expects to post growth in EBIT in the second half of the year.
