UBS: names ex-Fed official William Dudley to its board

(CercleFinance.com) - UBS said on Monday that it has appointed William Dudley, former CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, to its board of directors.


Dudley became CEO of the New York Fed in 2009, a position he held until 2018. He also served as the vice chairman of the Federal Reserve's Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC).

Prior to joining the New York Fed, William Dudley was a partner and managing director and senior economist at Goldman Sachs.

UBS also announced today that it will nominate Jeanette Wong, one of the most influential personalities in Singapore's financial industry, for election to its board at the annual general meeting of shareholders on 2 May.
