Nestlé: ecological supply target for 2030

(CercleFinance.com) - Nestlé has announced its target of sourcing over 14 million tonnes of ingredients, i.
e. 50% of its total global supplies, from regenerative agriculture by 2030, with an interim target of 20% by 2025.

To achieve this, the Swiss agri-food group is committed to supporting the adoption of agro-ecological practices worldwide, with France, an "agricultural land par excellence", designated as the pilot country for this project.

As part of this transition, Nestlé wishes to involve its partners, agricultural cooperatives and traders which supply its 18 French factories with plant-based raw materials, in order to achieve its objective.
