Adecco: Adjusted EPS down 9% in 2023

(CercleFinance.com) - Adecco has published Q4 sales of E6,109m, down 2% as reported y-o-y (+1% in organic terms).


Q4 operating income was up 65% (+74% organic) to E187m, with net income up 6% to E68m, giving adjusted EPS of E0.75 (-1%).

The Group posted FY sales of E23.9bn (+1% reported, +3% organic), for net earnings of E325m, down 5% and below expectations. Adjusted EPS for 2023 came to E2.99, down 9%.

Finally, Adecco reports that since the start of the year, group volumes are slightly below Q4 2023 levels.

The Group intends to continue to capture market share in a difficult macroeconomic environment in Q1 2024, while managing resources with agility, focusing on productivity and overhead and administrative cost savings, it says.
