Roche: to present new data at upcoming cancer congress

(CercleFinance.com) - Roche said that it plans to present new data from its oncology portfolio at the upcoming congress of the European Society for Medical Oncology, starting in Barcelona later this week.


The Swiss drugmaker will unveil the first positive results from a Phase III cancer immunotherapy combination trial in people with previously untreated advanced bladder cancer.

It will also present the first results from a study testing its Foundation Medicine unit's liquid biopsy assay to identify patients who may be eligible for its lung cancer drug Alecensa.

Roche will also unveil the first results from a positive Phase III trial on Tecentriq as an initial treatment for advanced lung cancer.

At the congress, which is being held in Barcelona, Roche plans to present a total of 100 abstracts and 15 abstracts.
