BlackBerry: to work on Jaguar Land Rover next connected car

(CercleFinance.com) - BlackBerry said it has entered into a multi-year agreement with Jaguar Land Rover to develop technology for the British carmaker's next-generation vehicles.


As part of the agreement, BlackBerry will license its technology to the luxury carmaker, as well as support the development of a next-generation infotainment system.

Once a smartphone maker, Canada's BlackBerry currently provides technology to protect hardware, software, and applications from cyber attacks.

The terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
