Umicore: in the red after annual results
(CercleFinance.com) - Umicore shares are down 2% in Brussels after the Belgian industrial group published adjusted EPS of E1.
86 for 2023, with adjusted EBITDA down 16% to E972m, representing a margin of 25% on revenues that fell 7% to E3.9bn. The materials and recycling technology specialist says that it has made considerable progress in reducing costs in operations, and we are further accelerating this process in 2024. A gross annual dividend of E0.80 for 2023, with a balance of E0.55 to be paid in May, will be proposed to the AGM. Umicore expects its adjusted EBITDA for 2024 to be between E900m and E950m.
