Subsea 7: contract with Turkish Petroleum OTC in the Black Sea
(CercleFinance.com) - Subsea 7 announces the award of a contract by Turkish Petroleum Offshore Technology Center AS (TP-OTC) for inspection, repair and maintenance (IRM) services in the Sakarya gas field in the Black Sea.
The contract, valued at between $50 and $150 million, includes project management from Istanbul and Aberdeen, as well as the supply of equipment and personnel on board the Mukavemet vessel. Offshore operations will take place in 2025 and 2026. We look forward to continuing to work alongside TP-OTC to optimize gas production from the Sakarya field and strengthen our long-term presence in Turkey", commented Hani El Kurd, Senior Vice President of Subsea 7.
