Inditex: RBC raises its price target

(CercleFinance.com) - Analysts at Royal Bank of Canada announced on Monday that they had raised their price target for Inditex from ?38 to ?40, while maintaining an 'outperform' rating on the stock.

In a note on the European ready-to-wear sector, the Canadian broker expects the Spanish group to continue outperforming the market, thanks to its attractive offering, integrated business model and highly productive sales areas.

The broker explains that it expects gross margin for the current financial year to be at the top end of the range communicated by the company, which had set itself the target of a globally stable figure from one year to the next.

RBC notes that Inditex generated a gross margin of 58.2% in the first half of its fiscal year, 0.9 percentage points higher than its average over the last ten years.

Inditex plans to publish its nine-month results on December 13.
