OVHcloud: in talks to acquire gridscale
(CercleFinance.com) - OVHcloud announces that it has entered into exclusive negotiations to acquire 100% of the German company gridscale, at the origin of a software platform specialising in hyperconverged infrastructures.
This acquisition, which is expected to be completed at the start of FY 2024, would enable OVHcloud to significantly accelerate its geographical deployment, and to enter the recent and very strong growth market of Edge Computing. gridscale offers an innovative range of multi-tenant IaaS and PaaS products and services, with the significant competitive advantage of its ability to rapidly deploy a Public Cloud environment on a limited-size infrastructure.
