PepsiCo: partnership with UEFA women's football

(CercleFinance.com) - PepsiCo said on Wednesday that it has entered into a five-year partnership with the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) for women's football.


Under the terms of the agreement, the soft drinks maker will sponsor all women's competitions organised by the governing body of European football until 2025.

Amongst other things the agenda includes the Women's Champions League, as well as the European Women's Football Championship to be held in England in the summer of 2022.

Pepsi will also partner with the #WePlayStrong campaign to promote soccer to girls and young women.

For the record, the company has already sponsored the men's Champions League since 2015.
