Intel: subsidiary Mobileye selected by China's Geely
(CercleFinance.com) - Intel announced on Thursday that its autonomous driving subsidiary Mobileye has developed the advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) of the "Zero Concept", the new upmarket electric vehicle (EV) from Lynk & Co, a premium brand belonging to the Chinese automotive group Geely.
Intel took the opportunity to announce that Mobileye and Geely had also concluded a "high-volume" agreement, providing for the use of Mobileye's vision sensors for a whole series of Geely's models.
Under the terms of this long-term agreement, Geely will make use of Mobileye's ADAS technologies, suh as automatic emergency braking and lane-keeping assist.
