GE: O2 Power orders 36 wind turbines in India

(CercleFinance.com) - GE Vernova today announced an order from O2 Power Private Limited for the supply, installation and commissioning of 36 units of 2.
7-132 onshore wind turbines for a total of 97 MW of wind power projects in the Maharashtra region of India.

The agreement will enable the supply of renewable energy to various industries and commercial establishments in India, and will contribute to India's target of 500 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030.

The wind farm is scheduled to be commissioned progressively, with full commissioning in early calendar 2025.
