Delta Airlines: Q4 EPS beats expectations

(CercleFinance.com) - Delta Airlines has posted Q4 adjusted EPS that is up 31% at 1.
70 dollar, exceeding the consensus by 30 cents, and even its own target range of 1.20 dollar to 1.50 dollar.

Atlanta-based airline posted 7% growth in total revenue to 11.4 billion dollars (compared to a comparable basis adjusted for the divestment of DAL Global Services), largely thanks to strong demand for holiday travel.

Ed Bastian, Delta's CEO, said, "As we enter 2020, demand for travel is healthy and our brand preference is growing, positioning Delta to deliver another year of strong results, including earnings per share of $6.75 to $7.75."
