Alfa Laval: wins wastewater treatment contract in Singapore

(CercleFinance.com) - Alfa Laval has won an order to supply decanters to a wastewater treatment plant in Singapore in a deal valued at approximately 75 million Swedish kronor (around 7.
5 million euros), the company said on Monday.

The engineering firm - which makes heat exchangers and equipment for handling fluids - said the decanters will be used for the dewatering and thickening of domestic and industrial sludge at the water plant.

Alfa Laval's water treatment products can clean wastewater so it can be used as process water, or for irrigation purposes.

Deliveries are scheduled for 2022.
