Ericsson: Orange deploys its antenna system in Egypt

(CercleFinance.com) - After securing the 2600MHz network spectrum in Egypt, Orange Egypt announces the deployment of an Ericsson antenna system to build out the 2600MHz network and improve coverage, capacity and internet speed in the country.


As Egyptian residents become increasingly reliant on technology and mobile communications, it was crucial to have an optimal network that offers lightning-fast speeds and meets user demands, it said.

The antenna system is a fundamental pillar of an operator's network infrastructure and is of vital importance to ensure high quality network communications, Ericsson added.

It also says that this antenna system is an optimised end-to-end solution that will significantly improve network performance in the country.

Orange shares are currently in pole position in Paris - up 1.2%, while Ericsson shares are pretty flat.
