Technip Energies: big contract with Neste in Netherlands

(CercleFinance.com) - Technip Energies has been awarded a "significant" contract (between 50 and 250 million euros) by Neste for the expansion of their renewable products production capacity in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, as part of their existing partnership.


The contract covers engineering, procurement services and construction management for the expansion of an existing refinery, which will increase Neste's overall renewable products capacity by 1.3 million tonnes per year.

The production process is based on Neste's state-of-the-art technology, which enables the conversion of renewable waste and residual feedstocks (such as used cooking oil and animal fat waste) into renewable fuels.
