Ahold Delhaize: Stifel upgrades stock

(CercleFinance.com) - The broker Stifel has upgraded its rating on the Ahold Delhaize share from "sell" to "hold".


According to the analyst, the acquisition of 80% of FreshDirect by Ahold Delhaize " marks a clear inflection in U.S. online strategy".

"Our take on this move is positive even if financial terms have not been disclosed".

Stifel is however maintaining its target price of 25 euros for the share (price at just before 3 pm on Friday about 23.6 euros, +0.5%).
