ASML: fire at Berlin plant

(CercleFinance.com) - ASML said on Monday that a fire broke out last night in part of its Berlin factory, which makes components for lithography systems.


The fire, which caused no injuries, was contained, the Dutch semiconductor equipment maker said, adding that it was still too early to assess the industrial consequences of the incident.

It will take a few days to conduct a thorough investigation and make a full assessment, the technology group said.

The stock is pretty flat today.
