ASMi: Oddo raises target price

(CercleFinance.com) - Oddo maintains its Outperform rating on ASM International shares, having increased its target price for them from 315 euros to 330 euros.


Yesterday, ASMi announced that, based on preliminary and unaudited figures, Q4 2022 sales amounted to around 720 million euros, 13% above the consensus of 640 million euros and the guidance of E630/660m, the broker says, which highlights a faster-than-expected improvement in supply chain conditions and higher backlog conversion.

While ASMi is not yet providing guidelines for 2023, it will guide on Q1 and Q2 sales on 28 February, when it announces Q4 results - a usual practice.

Analysts don't think that ASMi is giving 2023 guidance, although believe that it could comment, clearly outperforming the equipment market (WFE)..
