STMicro: launches Electronics 2030 program
(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday evening at a ceremony at its Crolles site, near Grenoble, in the presence of President Emmanuel Macron, STMicroelectronics announced the launch of the "Electronics 2030" program, one of the components of the "France 2030" investment plan.
The five-year program aims to position France as a leader in digital and ecological transitions and to meet current and future challenges in the field of electronics, from upstream research to applications.
"Electronics 2030" contributes to the Major Project of Common European Interest for Microelectronics and Communications Technologies (PIIEC ME/CT), which brings together twenty Member States, the financing of which must be approved by the European Commission.
