ArcelorMittal: Q2 EBITDA halved
(CercleFinance.com) - On Thursday morning ArcelorMittal reported Q2 2020 EBITDA of 0.
7 billion dollars, compared to 1.56 billion in Q2 2019.
The group therefore made a net loss of -0.6 billion dollars, after -0.4 billion dollars a year ago. Sales also suffered from the economic crisis, reaching 10.98 billion dollars, against 19.3 billion dollars a year ago.
Finally, it note that H1 EBITDA came in at 1.7 billion dollars, having been almost halved in the space of a year (3.2 billion dollars in H1 2019).
