Aperam: net profit divided by three in 2023

(CercleFinance.com) - Aperam reports 2023 net profit that has been divided by three at E203m, representing basic EPS of E2.
81, with EBITDA of E293m, way off nearly E1.08bn the previous year.

Sales of the stainless, electrical and specialty steel manufacturer fell by 19.2% to E6.59bn, due to lower volumes and lower sales prices. Shipments fell by 4.8% to 2.2 million tons.

For Q1 2024, Aperam expects EBITDA to remain at a comparable level with that in Q4 2023, while expecting an increase in net financial debt.
