Toyota: to present its new hydrogen fuel cell

(CercleFinance.com) - Toyota announces the development of its third-generation hydrogen fuel cell system (3rd Gen FC System), designed for the commercial sector with durability comparable to diesel engines.


The new system offers improved energy efficiency, 20% longer range and significant cost savings.

It will be deployed from 2026 in heavy commercial vehicles and passenger cars in several markets, including Japan, Europe, North America and China.

Toyota will unveil the system on February 19 at FC EXPO in Tokyo.
