Toyota: monthly sales finally up after 5 months falling

(CercleFinance.com) - The Toyota group reports that it sold a total of 924,918 vehicles in July, up 0.
7% on July 2023. Note that group sales are up for the first time in six months.

In detail, in July, sales of the Toyota brand fell by 0.2% (to 857,982 vehicles), while those of Daihatsu jumped by 17.8% (56,055 vehicles) and sales of Hino fell by 3.5%, to 10,881 vehicles.

In terms of production, the group announced that it had produced a total of 923,658 vehicles in July, up 0.6%, with -0.6% for the Toyota brand (804,610 vehicles), +9.2% for Daihatsu (105,171 units) and +10% for Hino, with 13,877 units produced.
