WPP: appoints influential marketer to board

(CercleFinance.com) - WPP, the world's biggest advertising company, said on Thursday that it has appointed influential marketer Keith Weed as a non-executive director.


Due to join WPP's board on 1 November, Weed has for the last nine years been the chief marketing and communications officer of consumer goods giant Unilever, before leaving in May 2019.

The executive - who has been named the world's most influential chief marketing officer by Forbes in 2017, 2018 and 2019 - is currently the president of the UK Advertising Association, and a member of McLaren F1's advisory board.
