Eni: joint venture to develop industrial waste plant

(CercleFinance.com) - Eni and utility group Hera signed an agreement to jointly develop a platform to process special waste in an industrial area of Northern Italy.


The two companies said they have sealed an agreement to establish a joint venture which will pool their expertise in technical-management to create a multifunctional plant for the pre-processing and processing of waste disposal in the Ravenna region.

The platform, which will become operational in 2021, will manage up to 60 thousand tonnes of waste a year, recovering materials and energy therefrom.
