Ryanair: passenger traffic dives 83% in December

9 million passengers in December, meaning that its traffic fell 83% compared with December 2019.
As Covid-19 continued to ravage traffic, the Irish budget airline operated about 22% of its normal December schedule during this traditionally busy period for holiday travel in Europe, with the company posting a 73% load factor.
Ryanair said that it carried 52.1 million passengers in the 12 months to the end of December, down 66% on a rolling 12-month basis compared to the 152.4 million passengers of 2019.
Its shares were down 1.2% after the report.
