Ryanair: has applied for a license in UK

(CercleFinance.com) - According to Sky News, Ryanair Holdings is preparing for the black scenario of a "hard Brexit": on 21 December, the Irish low-cost airline filed with the British Civil Aviation Authority, a request for a license so that it can continue to operate in the UK in the event of a "hard Brexit".
A spokesman for Ryanair has reportedly confirmed the news to the British media.

Indeed, Sky News adds, the Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) that Ryanair has requested would enable it to fly in and to the UK even if no air transport agreement were to be reached with the European Union when Brexit is finalised in March 2019.
