GSK: adjusted EPS up 7% in first quarter

9 billion for the first quarter, representing an 8% fall in constant currency compared to the first quarter of the previous financial year.
Excluding the decline in Covid contracts, revenue would be up 10%, underlines the laboratory.
Quarterly adjusted operating profit comes to £2.09 billion, stable in constant currency and slightly exceeding consensus.
Adjusted EPS comes out at 37 pence, up 7% in constant currency.
In this context, GSK confirms its outlook for the 2023 financial year and announces a dividend of 14 pence for the past quarter. The laboratory is aiming for a dividend of 56.5 pence per share for the financial year as a whole.
