Rolls-Royce: order for 60 Trent 7000 engines

(CercleFinance.com) - Rolls-Royce announces that Cathay Pacific has placed an order for 60 Trent 7000 engines to power 30 Airbus A330-900s.
The airline has also signed a TotalCare service agreement that will cover the fleet.

'This service offering is supported by data provided by Rolls-Royce's advanced engine health monitoring system, which enables customers to increase operational availability, reliability and efficiency' says the group.

Ewen McDonald, Chief Customer Officer, Rolls-Royce - Civil Aerospace, said: 'The Trent 7000, combined with TotalCare, is a compelling proposition for airline customers and this order demonstrates great confidence in the Trent 7000/A330neo combination'.
