BT: appoints new commercial director

(CercleFinance.com) - BT Group today announces the appointment of Bridget Lea as Managing Director of Commercial for its “Consumer” division as from January 2021.


She will succeed Etienne Brandt, who is leaving the company "for new opportunities", BT says.

Bridget Lea has worked at Sainsbury's and Argos in the past, before taking charge of O2 stores for almost six years.

Bridget Lea is also a member of the University of Manchester Board of Governors and a non-executive director of Marston's PLC.

Whether for this reason or another, the BT share is up around 6% on Tuesday afternoon.
