Dassault Systèmes: share falls as Deutsche cuts TP

(CercleFinance.com) - Dassault Systèmes is one of the SBF 120's biggest fallers on Tuesday morning in Paris, with the software maker's stock penalised by Deutsche Bank comments, in which the broker lowered its forecasts for the group.


The broker says that it expects a difficult start to the year for the industrial software specialist, which will publish its Q1 results on 25 April.

It says that the good performance of the automotive-related businesses and the '3DExperience' platform is offset by the slower-than-expected recovery of the life sciences and healthcare businesses.

Deutsche is therefore reducing its Q1 and FY 2024 earnings forecasts by 1%, with analysts lowering their target price for the share from E55 to E52.

The broker nevertheless maintains a Buy rating on the stock.
