Unibail-Rodamco: partnership with Germany's Zalando

(CercleFinance.com) - Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield announces forming a strategic partnership with the e-commerce group Zalando in Germany, where it currently operates 24 shopping centres.


This partnership will enable retailers to use the omnichannel platform to deal with the Covid-19 crisis.

Stores from shopping centres operated by Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield in Germany now benefit from a new sales channel for their products.

Connected Retail connects brands and the Zalando platform. Its cooperation with Zalando enables a decentralisation and optimisation of logistics processes. It thus contributes to the establishment of sustainable supply chains by reducing distances and the number of trips, the company said.
