Spie: recruited 5,400 employees in 2018

(CercleFinance.com) - Spie says it has recruited nearly 5,400 employees on permanent contracts in 2018, including over 2,300 in France and nearly 1,300 in Germany, for a total workforce of 46,400 employees, and that it has recruited nearly 1,000 additional employees in the first two months of 2019.


Eager to continue this development, the multi-technical services group has launched a campaign by affixing a specific sticker on its 8,000 service vehicles in France, a campaign that will be extended to other European countries in 2019.

The group is particularly interested in young recruits and also wants to attract more women, it said, noting that recruitment of female staff now represents about 16% of the total, against 10% three years ago.
