Worldline: share price takes off, Crédit Agricole interested in the stock

(CercleFinance.com) - This morning Bloomberg reported that Crédit Agricole SA is considering taking a stake in Worldline SA to help stabilize its troubled payment partner, according to close sources.


Worldline shares are therefore up over 5% at present.

Bloomberg reports that Crédit Agricole has discussed a possible decision to buy shares in Worldline after its shares plunged in recent weeks. Worldline's current market cap is said to be around 4.1 billion euros.
