Elior: acquisition in baby food

(CercleFinance.com) - Elior announced on Tuesday that Ansamble, its daycare catering subsidiary, had acquired Comme des Papas, a producer of organic baby food.


Born in a business incubator in the Loir-et-Cher region, this company manufactures pasteurised baby food cooked with seasonal products, with the aim of getting as close as possible to "home-made" food.

Its jars are then distributed throughout France to day-care centres and individuals.

With its integration into the Ansamble group, Comme des Papas - which currently produces 1,500 jars per day - aims to double its production to 3,000 units per day.
