Legrand: 42% increase in 9m net income

(CercleFinance.com) - Legrand has reported a 41.
7% increase in net income, group share to 699 million euros, with a 2.9-point improvement in its adjusted operating margin before acquisitions (at 2020 consolidation scope) to 21.6%, for the first nine months of 2021.

The electrical equipment supplier's sales rose by 15% to 5.17 billion euros , with organic sales growth of 16%, including +13.2% in mature countries and +24.7% in new economies.

Legrand is now targeting organic sales growth of +11% to +13% in 2021, compared with at least +10% previously, and an adjusted operating margin of between 20% and 20.5%, compared with around 20% previously.
