Alstom: to supply 200 trains to Norske Tog in Norway

(CercleFinance.com) - Alstom has signed a framework contract with Norske Tog (NT) to supply a total of 200 Coradia Nordic regional trains.


Worth over 1.8 billion euros, this contract is the largest rail contract in Norwegian history. The first firm order of 30 trains is worth 380 million euros.

Once in operation, the new fleet will provide a fast commuter train service between Ski and Stabekk and the metropolis of Oslo.
