Bureau Veritas: cancels proposed dividend

(CercleFinance.com) - Bureau Veritas says that its board of directors has exceptionally decided not to propose a dividend payment at its AGM of 26 June, in order to comply with regulatory provisions in return for assistance.


In order to preserve its capacity to ensure a rapid rebound after the crisis, the group has decided to adopt remote working and partial unemployment schemes in France, as well as use facilities that enable it to defer certain charges and tax payments.

"The decision also strengthens the Group's responsible attitude towards all stakeholders who are making considerable efforts or facing major challenges during this unparalleled crisis," said the inspection and certification specialist.
