Xilam: France TV, BBC and ZDF to broadcast new series

(CercleFinance.com) - Xilam announced on Monday that its upcoming series 'Piggy Builders', aimed at younger children, would be broadcast on France Télévisions, the BBC and Germany's ZDF from next year.


This '3D' production - aimed at a pre-school audience - features a trio of pig brothers and sisters who have to deal with a lazy wolf.

The first episodes of this series of 52 11-minute chapters should be delivered during the third quarter of 2025.

Quoted in a press release, Marc du Pontavice, Xilam's CEO, said he was "very pleased" with the support of the three European public broadcasters.

He added that Piggy Builders had received a "tremendous" reception during its presentation at the 2021 Cartoon Forum.

Following this announcement, Xilam shares rose by over 3% on Monday on the Paris Bourse.
