Orange: commercial agreement in West Africa

(CercleFinance.com) - Orange has said that its wholesale division, International Carriers, has signed a commercial agreement with Côte Ouest Audiovisuel to provide network access and content delivery services in West Africa through its Media Delivery Boost (MDB) solution.


This agreement enables Côte Ouest Audiovisuel, as a new customer of Orange's Content Delivery Network (CDN), to distribute its content to all its subscribers without the prior need for satellite broadcasting.

For Orange, the development of the CDN is strategic for revenue growth, particularly in Africa, where the operator already manages the largest network of this type on the continent, enabling the distribution of audiovisual content in 10 countries.
